Two tier wedding cake at The Powdermills Hotel, Battle, East Sussex.  Base tier of Belgian couverture chocolate sponge filled with whipped Belgian couverture chocolate ganache, top tier of Madagascan vanilla bean sponge with whipped Madagascan vanilla bean paste buttercream and raspberry conserve.  Cake finished in a smooth Belgian couverture chocolate ganache with sharp edges.  Decorated with gold wire encircling each tier, and gold wire entwined hearts.  Gold wires decorated with delicate hand made sugar apple blossom flowers and fresh miniature strawberries.  Cake set on a stand in a bed of moss, dotted with strawberries and sugar blossoms.  Cake serves 50 finger portions.  Images by Indiego Photography
