Three tiered wedding cake at Battle Abbey, Battle, East Sussex.  Central tier 1.5x normal depth.  All tiers iced in pure white.  Top tier and base tier finished with white and gold edible glitter and miniature hand made sugar, tinted blossoms.  Central tier decorated with hand made wired sugar deep red rose and rose buds, with satin gold ribboning.  Base tier of Madagascan vanilla sponge with whipped Madagascan vanilla bean paste buttercream and passionfruit curd.  Central tier of fresh lemon zest sponge filled with Madagascan vanilla bean paste buttercream and lemon curd and top tier of Madagascan vanilla sponge with whipped Madagascan vanilla bean paste buttercream and passionfruit curd.  Cake serves approx 150 portions.  Images kindly provided by Doville Gail Photography.
