Four tier heart shaped naked style wedding cake at Gildredge Manor, Eastbourne, East Sussex.  Cake dressed with florals from Blooms of Eastbourne and with fresh soft fruits.  Styled in “Mexican Day of the Dead” theme, celebrating life and marriage as requested by the Bride and Groom.  Hand made and hand painted sugar skulls and sugar banner.  Base tier of Vanilla sponge with Madagascan vanilla bean paste whipped buttercream and raspberry conserve, tier one of Belgian couverture chocolate sponge with whipped Belgian couverture chocolate ganache filling.  Tier two of moist coconut sponge with coconut buttecream.  Tier three of fresh moist carrot cake with walnuts and a cream cheese frosting laced with orange oil and orange zest.  Cake serves 120 finger portions.  Images by Luke Woodford Photography
