Four tiered wedding cake at Broyle Place, Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex.   All four tiers iced in pale ivory and lustered with a soft champagne finish.  Base tier and alternating tier decorated with sugar lace work, top tier and alternating tier decorated with hand piped beaded swags and drops.  Top tier and finished with full bloom hand made sugar English tea roses and foliage, with co-ordinating hand made sugar English tea rose, bud and foliage sprays around the tiers.  Base tier of rich moist Red Velvet sponge with whipped Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream, Tier one of Madagascan vanilla sponge with whipped Madagascan vanilla bean paste buttercream and Strawberry Conserve.  Tier two of fresh lemon zest sponge with whipped lemoncurd buttercream and Tier three (top tier) of rich moist Red Velvet sponge with whipped Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream.  Cake serves 130 finger portions.  Images kindly provided by Teri V Photography.
