Three tier buttercream finish “drip style” wedding cake at Laughton Barns, Ringmer, East Sussex.  All tiers finished in pale pinks, greens and ivories watercolour effect with a chocolate ganache silver drip to the top edge of each tier.  Decorated with fresh fruits, florals from The Florist in the Forest and meringues provided by The Meringue Girls.  Base tier of fresh lemon zest sponge with whipped lemoncurd buttercream, central tier of Madagascan vanilla sponge with fresh raspberries, filled with whipped Madagascan Vanilla bean paste buttercream with white Belgian couverture chocolate ganache and top tier of Belgian couverture chocolate sponge laced with Kirsch, filled with Belgian couverture chocolate whipped ganache with black cherry conserve.  Cake serves 100 finger portions.  Images kindly provided by Paul Fletcher Photography.
